This policy explains what Deep Desert Wiki collects when you browse or contribute. We aim to collect the minimum needed to run the site and improve the guides.

Analytics

We use privacy-conscious traffic analytics (such as Google Analytics and Cloudflare analytics) to understand which pages are read and how the site performs. These services may use cookies and collect technical data such as device type, country and referring page. IP addresses are handled according to the provider's settings; analytics data is not combined with contributor identities.

Advertising

Display advertising may be served through third-party networks. Ad providers use cookies to serve non-personalised or, where permitted, personalised ads and to measure performance. Where consent is required (including in the EEA and UK), a consent tool lets you accept or decline. We do not permit intrusive or forced advertising formats.

Contributed screenshots and reports

If you email a screenshot or a price report, we process only the game data needed (item, World, price, timestamp) plus the email address you send from so we can credit or reply. Images are retained only as long as needed to verify the report. You can ask us to delete a report and the associated email at any time.

Cookies

The site uses analytics and advertising cookies described above. Strictly necessary cookies may be set for basic functioning. You can block cookies in your browser, though some analytics and ad features may stop working.

Your rights (GDPR/CCPA)

Children

The site is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. Dune: Awakening carries an adult age rating; contributed data is about the game only.
