First 24 hours on console: pick a World, understand Sietches, learn the Exchange basics, and know what the weekly Deep Desert reset means for you.

1. Pick a World, not a 'server'
Dune: Awakening groups players into Worlds, and each World contains at least 20 Sietch instances. Your matchmaking, your Exchange market and your Deep Desert are all per-World — so the World you pick is your community. Choose by friends, language and population (see the World selection guide).
2. Understand the rhythm: the Deep Desert resets weekly
Every Tuesday the Deep Desert wipes: a sandstorm builds for 8–10 hours and the wipe happens at storm peak. The map is an 81-cell grid (A1–I9); rows A–E are PvE, rows F–I are PvP with 2.5x output. Weekly rotation (Mk6 schematics, uniques, resource nodes) resets too — check this site's weekly Deep Desert page after each reset.
3. Learn the Exchange early
Solari comes from gameplay; the Exchange is where items turn into Solari. Terminals are at Arrakeen and Harko Village, listing is P2P, fees are 20 Solari/day plus 2%/1% price fees, and you cap at 20 offers. Full mechanics in the Exchange guide.
4. Console-specific reminders
Console Worlds are separate from PC (except Xbox ↔ Windows PC store). Free self-hosting is PC-only; console private servers are Nitrado. If the UI feels slow on PS5 or textures hitch on Xbox, patch first — launch-week hotfixes landed September 19, 21 and 22.
